Douglas Alan Wain, born May 4, 1958, in New Jersey, USA, is a forty-year veteran of the New York/New Jersey popular music scene.  A prolific singer-songwriter, he has written and publicly released 1,161 original songs, 227 on streaming platforms, and 934 original song samples on this website, www.douglaswain.com, on pages: INCEPTION (200 songs), COUNTRY/ROOTS (100 songs), SOFT ACOUSTIC (100 songs), FAITH (25 songs), KIDS (40 songs), HOLIDAY/EVENTS (19 songs), EXTRA (100 songs), BONUS (100 songs), OUTSIDE (150 songs), and ODD (100 songs).
